Mr. Lerena has over 12 years of experience in project management and design as well as financial and economic valuation of Cement and Lime Plants. He is highly analytical and has internationally proven planning, coordination, negotiation and managing skills. His expertise also includes the evaluation of limestone reserves and studies for the expansion of a Brownfield lime plant in Peru and a Greenfield lime plant in Colombia, including geological evaluations and process selection. Mr. Lerena has managed several projects for the Cement Industry, in the USA, Peru, Spain, Guatemala and Colombia. Mr. Lerena has held various positions within PENTA, such as Operations Manager, General Manager, and Project Manager. Prior to PENTA, he worked for six years at the Technical & Commercial Export Department of what is now Acciona Agua where he engineered over 20 Sea Water Desalination Plants around the world. Mr. Lerena achieved an Executive MBA from ESEUNE “Escuela Europea de Estudios Universitarios y de Negocios” in Bilbao, Spain. He earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Universidad de Piura, Peru.
