Francisco M. Benavides, P.E.
Mr. Benavides has 40 years of experience in management, engineering and construction. He has conducted bankable feasibility studies including valuations of companies and new projects; economic comparative analysis of mineral transport alternatives; financial evaluations for the privatization of state owned companies; plant valuations for acquisitions and for financing purposes, due diligence studies; analysis of capital and operating costs of mineral processing plants to define proforma cash flows. Mr. Benavides has participated in planning, coordination and supervision of major projects for the cement, lime, industrial minerals and metal mining industries. Mr. Benavides has 25 years with PENTA. Prior to heading the Consulting Group, he held the following positions with the company: Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, President of PENTA Industrial Corporation, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Mechanical Engineer. Mr. Benavides holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL; a BS in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology, Rolla, MO, and has completed Graduate Studies in Engineering Management and Environmental Engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology.
